Dave O’Brien was the founder of Safe & Sound Driver Service. The company strived to offer Geelong & surrounds residents top-notch, private transportation services, ensuring that all passengers arrive to their desired destination ‘Safe and Sound’ and stress free.
In June 2025, Dave retired and sold the business to Michelle Parker.
Michelle has been a driver for Safe and Sound Driver Service for 2 years and has taken on the business with the same ideals and vision as Dave, to provide a safe and reliable transport experience at all times and to provide the best service possible.
Michelle lives locally in East Geelong and has many years of experience in Retail Business and Public Health.
Safe and Sound Driver Service has a fleet of local drivers with modern, late model vehicles, People Movers carrying up to 7 passengers and SUV’s carrying up to 4 passengers in comfort and style.
We have Custom Made luggage trailers available to carry all of your travelling luggage, including bicycles, surfboards, golf clubs and dog/cat crates for your fur family travel.
Safety is our No 1 priority and we have available top quality ISO-Fix child car seats for 0-1yr old rear facing, 1-4yr old forward facing and 5-8yr old booster seats, fitted for your travel to suit your families individual requirements.
Michelle is now the primary driver for Safe & Sound Driver Service & with her team of experienced local drivers, they are ready to take you wherever you need to go.
She drives a 2025 Kia Carnival GT-Lite people mover, it is an 8-seater, with room for 7 passengers and has great luggage space, dual-zone climate control and very comfortable & flexible seating arrangements. Additionally, we have a beautiful 2021 Mini Countryman SUV which is a comfortable 4-passenger vehicle with all of the luxury features and a 2024 Haval H6 Hybrid SUV with all of the safety and comfort features that our customers expect.
